@00:14(looks) Yeah it is pretty grainy. I guess I do things to reduce rendering time. For this particular animation, I used a quality of 1000 with an oversample of 9 (to try to make up for the lower quality). I also zoomed it out and increased the scale.
As for using a powerful computer to make it perfect, I'm attempting to address this issue by installing Wine on my new iMac so I can run Apo 7X on my Mac rather than my old Dell. That way I can crank up the quality of a fractal and take care of the graininess issue.
@00:14high oversample?, but the oversample function is to multiply the original size by the oversample factor (9 in this case) and then its auto-sized to the original size, so the oversample is for a high antialising, i use oversample of 2 in all my fractals but a high density xD, maybe a density of 2000-3000 and an oversample of 2 would look nice
@00:14Yeah, whenever I do still images in Apophysis, I usually use a quality of 4000 and an oversample of 2. Installing Wine onto my Mac should help me more easily use these same settings for animation frames. And without having to zoom out and scale up.
